BBQ Chicken Pizza

I love chicken and I love barbecue sauce, so when I get the chance to combine both things, I'm one happy girl! I'm even happier when I can have the combination on a pizza at CPK. But, I'll let you in on a secret, the BEST BBQ Chicken Pizza I've ever had is made from scratch by me! Here is used a simple pizza crust recipe from my trusty Williams-Sonoma baking book. The only difficult part of this recipe is waiting for the dough to rise, 'cause you can't wait to eat the pizza hot from the oven!

If you've read my previous blog entries, you'll know how much I love making Mexican bread! I was surprised to see this recipe for Conchitas/Conchas in Nick Malgieri's book, "Bake!" However, he didn't call them by their traditional name, he called them Mexican Buns made with brioche dough. So, I decided to give them a try. And, I'm so glad that I did, because they were perfect! The topping was so yummy too!
