Mango Bread


The recipe for this bread hails from South Florida, via Dorie Greenspan's book "Baking From My Home to Yours." Well, I do love South Florida and mangoes, so I decided to make this bread this afternoon. It is truly a delicious treat. My only complaint is the addition of raisins. The bread is so moist and flavorful that the mango alone would be heavenly. I'm definitely going to omit the raisins next time.
